  1. Lofi

Well, Lofi is easy to find and easy to listen to. When you study, you like to do it in a calm and relaxing environment. Although there are many types of Lofi beats out there, you are very loyal to the ones you like. You probably have your life sorted out and are the type to not even realise that you have studied for 5 hours straight, a feat not many of us are actually capable of. So, good job! 👍

  1. Rap

You are an adrenaline junkie. It probably takes you a while to get into the zone, but once you do, you want to make the most out of it and rap helps. It is quite impressive that you do get a lot done when you tune into rap. I will forever be impressed with your ability to look absolutely calm listening to some of the most upbeat bangers out there.

  1. Taylor Swift

Pretty sure you are just waiting for Eras (To be honest, me too)

  1. Top 10 Today

You do not really need the music to study, you probably just felt left out. You don’t know where to start so you go to the “Top 10 Today” playlist. However, if you do actually enjoy listening to the top 10 songs, I am pretty sure you are singing/vibing instead of studying most of the time. Hey, no judgement here, if it works it works!

  1. Sad songs

You like to go through the stages of grief endlessly as you study. To be honest, you acknowledge the fact that studying is intense and you need sad music to calm you down. The intense waves of emo help you focus, but also occasionally make you weep about absolutely nothing.

  1. Movie music

You are the main character. ✨ Soundtracks are not the first thing that pop into someone’s head when you say ‘study music’. You have very unique taste in music and you are absolutely chill with that. You have my undying love and support if you listen to Hans Zimmer when you study.

  1. Noise

Where are my white/pink/green/brown noise girls at? 💅 Your mind is constantly pacing and you need the noise to tone it down and what helps you with that…well, more noise. Hey, I get it. It really does work. You have your dedicated stream of random waves when you study and are absolutely loyal to them. Occasionally, you release your wild side to switch it up a bit and listen to other noises. 🤩

As we get closer to exam season, I see headphones pop up all over campus. This is the season to become absolute academic weapons 🦾. Whilst studying is indeed very important, make sure to take care of yourself along the way too! 👏
